It became more difficult for Polish social entrepreneurs to sell to government and access grants, investment and non-financial support, as public awareness of what social entrepreneurs do dropped to last place, down 9 points. As a result, the country's overall ranking slid 17 places to 35th.

"Social entrepreneurs in Poland are very innovative in finding solutions for solving social problems. However, once they scale-up it becomes challenging to find business assistance and financial solutions adjusted to their needs. That is why we should focus on providing tailored capacity building services."
