Switzerland retreated six places to 17th, as social entrepreneurs found it tougher to access to investment and make a living from their work. Still, the country advanced 19 points to secure joint second place with Sweden for ease of selling to the public. It also shared joint fifth place with Egypt for young people showing interest in working in social enterprises.

"Social conscience is way more prevalent among young people because young people love to do meaningful work. Meaningless work is not so popular anymore. The era of 'any work is okay, as long as I make money' is gone."
