Country summary

The Philippines ceded its 2016 ranking as the top country for equal pay for women leaders, slumping 18 places to 19th.

However, it became easier for social entrepreneurs to sell to government and business, propelling the country to 9th and 6th place respectively. The country's overall ranking was down 2 points to 22nd place.
