Country summary

Denmark entered the top-ten countries for social entrepreneurs, advancing 15 spots to secure sixth place. The Scandinavian nation was the best country where social entrepreneurs can easily attract skilled staff and scored high for access to grants, doing business with government and the public understanding of what social entrepreneurs do.

"In Denmark there is public and political awareness, mainly in the Copenhagen area.  We still need the right ecosystem so we can have focus on early stage social entrepreneurs who have difficulties receiving funding in general."
